A web-based, online RPG written by Josh1billion in 2004-2005. It had a decent following at its time which formed a nice community. It was written in PHP

The game was launched in December 2004, and players who registered on the opening day found a special sword ("The Ghoul") in their inventory.

Distorted Horizon's life was cut early, however, in Feburary of 2005 when Josh1billion went on to work on another project, Stealth Prankster 2, which was never finished.

A new online RPG similar to Distorted Horizon (DH), Metropolis Online, is planned. Handfuls of new features will be in Metropolis that haven't been seen in DH.
