ROME.RO is John Romero's personal website that contains information about his life, the games he created, a community forum, photo album, chat room, game music, etc. You can visit the site HERE.


The main page of ROME.RO is the navigation page and also contains the latest news that John is interested in talking about. There are links to the main areas of the site, the biggest being the GAMETALK forums and GAMES section. On the right side are dynamic RSS feeds for some of John's favorite news sites.

Old news is in an archive and there is a links page to places that John thinks you should see. The ROME.RO site dates back to 2001 and the forums opened in 2002.


Current projects on the ROME.RO site are:

  • New game pages (Congo Cube is the most recent, Pyramids of Egypt is in progress)
  • Online store (Before John sells anything on eBay, he'll put it up here first)
